‘No time’ she says, yet she just finished watching a 2-hours movie. No time he says, yet he just spent the last one and a half hours arguing about football. No time, they say yet eight hours sleep isn’t enough for a day.
There seem never to be enough time
to do everything we plan to do but the truth is, there is always enough time to
do all the important things we plan to do.
The difference between the small and
the great is their ability to manage their time. Time is a true revealer of who
we all are inside.
Productivity is a measure of how
much you have accomplished with available time and not how busy you are. Both
the great and the small have 24hours at their disposal but the ability to
prioritize and evaluate set goals is the most distinguishing feature between
both classes. A great man once said ‘Success is goals and every other thing is
commentary’. Who do you want to be five years from now? Where do you want to be
five years from today? How much do you want to be earning five years from today?
There is not enough time to all that there is every day but there is more than
enough time to those thing that move you closer to the ‘great you’.
Whenever the phrase ‘no time’ comes
out of your mouth, it should mean there isn’t enough time for distractions. The
future is tomorrow in the mind of the naïve, in reality, the future is now.
