No time!!!

‘No time’ she says, yet she just finished watching a 2-hours movie. No time he says, yet he just spent the last one and a half hours arguing about football. No time, they say yet eight hours sleep isn’t enough for a day.
There seem never to be enough time to do everything we plan to do but the truth is, there is always enough time to do all the important things we plan to do.
The difference between the small and the great is their ability to manage their time. Time is a true revealer of who we all are inside.
Productivity is a measure of how much you have accomplished with available time and not how busy you are. Both the great and the small have 24hours at their disposal but the ability to prioritize and evaluate set goals is the most distinguishing feature between both classes. A great man once said ‘Success is goals and every other thing is commentary’. Who do you want to be five years from now? Where do you want to be five years from today? How much do you want to be earning five years from today? There is not enough time to all that there is every day but there is more than enough time to those thing that move you closer to the ‘great you’.
Whenever the phrase ‘no time’ comes out of your mouth, it should mean there isn’t enough time for distractions. The future is tomorrow in the mind of the naïve, in reality, the future is now.

The Answer is Leadership

Leadership is an extraordinary opportunity to do something.

Leadership means helping others achieve their dreams. Leadership means helping others experience freedom, excellence and helping them see opportunities. Leadership is inspiring. Leadership is responsibility. Leadership is challenging. It is not a title, it is action. Leadership presents you with the opportunity of making others become something; helping someone else have a better life.

Become a leader today and champion the right cause. Start thinking. Think fresh. We are living freely in a nation whose freedom is a result of the positive action taken by the previous generation. What are you going to leave for the next generation?.

Think about having a library for the young people who will come across something in the books in it that will change their lives for good that they become inspired to be the change.

Think about starting a company that would provide employment for the next generation. If your nation cannot do it, you can! There are so many wealthy people alive today in this nation who are willing to help that one person that would stand up and say ”I want to do it!” do the right thing not just because of the money but because you are challenged to make the difference in your generation. Change the world you live in, money is not everything.

Maybe you’ve being having this dream of starting a new school, company, idea etc – The most difficult part of starting something new is ”starting it”. Finances isn’t all you need, you can start acquiring knowledge on the field you want to venture into and watch your passion attract all the finances and people you need to you like a magnet.

The greatest nations on earth are controlled by those who are looking for what they can do for their government ( country) rather than what the government can do for them. Together let us make Nigeria the greatest nation on planet earth which she is for our generation and generations to come.

Treason : 18 Nigerian Soldiers Face Death & Jail terms over Boko Haram

FOR their alleged links to Boko Haram, some soldiers are to face death penalty while others will go to jail. Those affected are one lieutenant, one warrant officer and 16 others. The General Court Martial has been trying them since July 1, this year.

They were accused of offences ranging from communicating with Boko Haram members, cowardly behaviour, murder, to manslaughter. They were being tried by the Three Armoured Division as the case fell within its Area of Responsibility (AOR).

A military source said that those soldiers who were sentenced to death actually deserved the sentence because "for serving soldiers who swore to defend the territorial integrity of Nigeria and Nigerians therein to be found conniving with the enemies of Nigeria (Boko Haram) is a treasonable offence which attracts capital punishment.

"The Boko Haram members do not hide their sinister agenda. They want to destabilise the country. Everybody knows that. For soldiers to now secretly work with them at the expense of the country is treasonable. And it is so treated."

Contacted for comments, the Deputy Director, Army Public Relations of the Division, Col. Texas Chukwu, told The Guardian Sunday that he was preparing a formal speech in this regard, and that this might be made public today.

At the inauguration of the Court Martial on July 1, 2013, where all the 18 accused military personnel were arraigned, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Armoured Division, Jos, Maj.-Gen. Ebiobowei Bonna Awala, remarked that the accused soldiers facing the court martial were from the Three Armoured Division, Joint Task Force (JTF), otherwise known as Operation Restore Order from Maiduguri and Special Task Force (STF), known as Operation Safe Haven, from Plateau State. He said that the soldiers had been duly investigated for the various offences they were alleged to have committed.

According to Awala, the General Court Martial is one of those instruments conferred on him by virtue of Armed Forces Act Chapter A20 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria to address problems of this nature. He pointed out that discipline is the foundation on which the military career rests, adding that discipline and loyalty are two essential requirements no person who wants to succeed in professional soldiering can afford to lack.

"It is the duty of superiors to observe, correct and instantly deal with negligence or any misconduct on the part of subordinates. When there is any breach, it is expected that appropriate disciplinary measure must be taken by commanders to forestall future occurrences. This way, the Nigerian Army can continue to play its constitutional role and sustain its accolade as the pride of the nation.

"It is with a heavy heart though, that I have to convene this General Court Martial, being the first within four months of my assumption of duty as the GOC of this Division. However, I must state that if this division is witnessing this court martial, it is because I want to sustain high level of professionalism required to confront the mounting security challenges in the division's area of responsibility."

The GOC had admonished all parties to the Court Martial to discharge their duties expeditiously and with a degree of commitment that would enable the accused persons know their fate in good time.

As the Court Martial finished with the first batch of offenders, it was learnt that fresh offenders were being arraigned before the court

Brazil Sao paolo Stadium roof won't be finished for World Cup opener!!!!! ooouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A collapsed crane is pictured on the site of the Arena Sao Paulo stadium. A preliminary investigation into the accident, indicated that damage was confined to the concourse area and did not affect the stands - which could have taken longer to fix. Reuters imag

SAO PAULO (AP) - The roof of the stadium hosting the World Cup opener in a few weeks will not be fully finished in time for the tournament, constructors said Friday.

Construction company Odebrecht confirmed that a part of the roof at the Itaquerao will only be completed after the World Cup.

There was not enough time to install the glass covers that were supposed to be added to the stadium's roofing structure, so Odebrecht and local organizers decided to postpone the work until after the tournament.

Odebrecht said the missing covers will not affect fans watching matches in the stadium, although it appears from photos that more people would be covered from rain if they were in place.

Also Friday, the company in charge of 20,000 temporary seats needed for the opener said it successfully addressed all health and safety issues that had prompted prosecutors to threaten to halt work at the venue.

Odebrecht said in an email sent to The Associated Press that "the glass covers will only be installed after the World Cup" because "transparency studies" were still being finalized to make sure the covers can allow the passage of the proper amount of light needed to "preserve the pitch in good conditions."

The metal structures where the glasses have to be installed are in place but they will be empty by the time the nearly 70,000 fans and guests arrive for the high-profile opener between Brazil and Croatia on June 12. The venue will host five World Cup matches, including one of the semifinals.

Odebrecht said the roof itself is ready and guaranteed that the covers are not essential, even though they were part of the initial project.

The company had already said that not all fans in the temporary seats behind the goals will be fully covered from rain.

The local World Cup organizing committee said it was not a requirement to have stadiums with all of their seats covered.

"The architectural project of the Arena de Sao Paulo, as of the other 11 stadiums, is not intended to have 100 percent of the fans protected from rain," the committee said in a statement. "That is only possible in stadiums completely covered."

FIFA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Itaquerao is one of the three stadiums yet to be completed ahead of the World Cup. Late last year, two workers died after a crane collapsed while hoisting a huge roofing structure, causing significant construction delays at the venue that was expected to be ready by the end of last year.

In March, another worker died while installing the temporary seats there, prompting labor officials to halt construction and causing another delay.

On Thursday, prosecutors said they found health and safety irregularities at the Itaquerao and threatened to stop the installation of the temporary seats that are still missing. The company in charge of the work, Fast Engenharia, said Friday that it addressed all the problems pointed by prosecutors and dismissed the possibility of another work stoppage.

In his latest visit to Brazil last month, FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke said there was "not a minute" to waste if local organizers wanted to make sure the Itaquerao was ready for the opener.

International outrage grows for Sudanese woman sentenced to death for apostasy

International outrage is mounting over the death sentence a Sudanese judge ordered for the pregnant wife of an American citizen — all because she refuses to renounce her Christian faith.

Meriam Ibrahim, 26, was sentenced Thursday after being convicted of apostasy. The court in Khartoum ruled that Ibrahim must give birth and nurse her baby before being executed, but must receive 100 lashes immediately after having her baby for adultery — for having relations with her Christian husband. Ibrahim, a physician and the daughter of a Christian mother and a Muslim father who abandoned the family as a child, could have spared herself death by hanging simply by renouncing her faith.

"We gave you three days to recant but you insist on not returning to Islam," Judge Abbas Khalifa told Ibrahim, according to AFP. "I sentence you to be hanged to death."

But Ibrahim held firm to her beliefs.

“I was never a Muslim,” she answered. “I was raised a Christian from the start.”

Ibrahim was raised in the Christian faith by her mother, an Orthodox Christian from Ethiopia. She is married to Daniel Wani, a Christian from southern Sudan who has U.S. citizenship, according to sources who spoke on condition of anonymity.
"I was never a Muslim. I was raised a Christian from the start."

- Meriam Ibrahim

The cruel sentence drew condemnation from Amnesty International, the U.S. State Department and U.S. lawmakers.

“The refusal of the government of Sudan to allow religious freedom was one of the reasons for Sudan’s long civil war,” Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J., chairman of the House congressional panel that oversees U.S. policy in Africa, said in a statement. “The U.S. and the rest of the international community must demand Sudan reverse this sentence immediately.”

Amnesty International called the sentence a “flagrant breach” of international human rights law and the U.S. State Department said it was “deeply disturbed” by the ruling, which will be appealed.

Khalifa refused to hear key testimony and ignored Sudan's constitutional provisions on freedom of worship and equality among citizens, according to Ibrahim's attorney Al-Shareef Ali al-Shareef Mohammed.

“The judge has exceeded his mandate when he ruled that Meriam’s marriage was void because her husband was out of her faith,” Mohammed told The Associated Press. “He was thinking more of Islamic Shariah laws than of the country’s laws and its constitution.”

Ibrahim and Wani married in a formal ceremony in 2011 and have an 18-month-old son, Martin, who is with her in jail. The couple operate several businesses, including a farm, south of Khartoum, the country’s capital. Wani fled to the United States as a child to escape the civil war in southern Sudan, but later returned. He is not permitted to have custody of the little boy, because the boy is considered Muslim and cannot be raised by a Christian man.

Sudan’s penal code criminalizes the conversion of Muslims into other religions, which is punishable by death. Muslim women in Sudan are further prohibited from marrying non-Muslims, although Muslim men are permitted to marry outside their faith. Children, by law, must follow their father’s religion.

Islamic Shariah laws were introduced in Sudan in the early 1980s under the rule of autocrat Jaafar Nimeiri, whose decision led to the resumption of an insurgency in the mostly animist and Christian south of Sudan. An earlier round of civil war lasted 17 years, ending in 1972. In 2011, the south seceded to become the world’s newest nation, South Sudan.

Sudanese President Omar Bashir, an Islamist who seized power during a 1989 military coup, said his county will implement Islam more strictly now that the non-Muslim south is gone. A number of Sudanese have been convicted of apostasy in recent years, but they have all escaped execution by recanting their faith. Religious thinker and politican Mahmoud Mohammed Taha — a vocal critic of Nimeiri — was sentenced to death after his conviction of apostasy and was executed at the age of 76 in 1985.

Ibrahim’s case first came to the attention of authorities in August, when members of her father’s family complained that she was born a Muslim but married a Christian man. They claimed her birth name was “Afdal” before she changed it to Meriam. The document produced by relatives to indicate she was given a Muslim name at birth was a fake, Mohammed said.

Ibrahim refused to answer the judge when he referred to her as “Afdal” during Thursday’s hearing.

Ibrahim was initially charged with having illegitimate sex last year, but she remained free pending trial. She was later charged with apostasy and jailed in February after she declared in court that Christianity was the only religion she knew.

The US-based Center for Inquiry is demanding that all charges against Ibrahim be dropped, saying the death sentence is a clear violation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, which forbids persecution or coercion of religious beliefs and the right to marry.

“Religious belief must never be coerced and free expression must never be punished, through threat of imprisonment, violence, or any other means,” the group wrote in a letter to Sudan’s UN ambassador, H.E. Hassan Hamid Hassan. “This cannot go unanswered, and the world will not stand for it.”

Mutiny-in-borno-as-angry-soldiers-shoot-7-div-goc

*12 soldiers killed in ambush

*Troops complain of lack of equipment

*No allowances for 15 days

Military operations in Borno State went sour today when angry soldiers staged a mutiny and shot at the vehicle of the General Officer Commander (GOC) of the 7 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Amadu Mohammed who escaped death by the whiskers.

The incident happened at the Maimalari Barracks along Baga Road in Maiduguri.

Witnesses said a bullet allegedly fired by one of the protesting soldiers at the jeep of the GOC pierced the passenger side of the vehicle but is not yet clear if it hit the army General.

Reliable sources within the military said he was taken to a hospital in the barracks but was later discharged.

People living close to the barracks said they heard sound of sustained gunshots in the barracks. “In fact, I thought there was an attack in the barracks by the insurgents. It was later that I learnt the problem was within the barracks,” a fuel hawker at the Shagari Low Cost said.

The attack on the GOC followed the killing of 12 soldiers who were reportedly ambushed by suspected members of the Boko Haram while on their way to Maiduguri from Kala-Balge local government area along the shores of the Lake Chad in Borno State.

A.B.U C.S.O'S Son caught for nyanya bombing!!!

Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche

A mastermind of the Nyanya bomb blasts, Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche, who was on Tuesday declared wanted by the Department of State Services, DSS, and subsequently placed on the international police (Interpol) red alert, has been arrested.

The first Nyanya bombing of April 14 left no fewer than 100 people dead and scores more injured. The second killed over 30 and wounded scores of people.

The coordinator of the National Information Centre and director-general of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr Mike Omeri, made the arrest known yesterday during a media briefing on the efforts to rescue the abducted Chibok girls.

Omeri said that the collaborative efforts of the Nigeria Police and Interpol led to Ogwuche’s arrest in faraway Sudan.

“Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche has been arrested for his involvement in the Nyanya bombing of April 14. The efforts of the Interpol and the Nigeria Police have led to his arrest in Sudan,” he said.

The deputy director, DSS, Marylin Ogar, in her remarks stated that the suspect had been apprehended in the Sudan and that efforts were being made to bring him back to the country to face justice.

The UK-born Ogwuche, a former lance corporal in the Nigerian Army with Service No. SVC 95/ 104 alongside Rufai Abubakar Tsiga allegedly masterminded the April 14 Nyanya bomb blast.

According to security sources, Ogwuche, the son of a colonel in the Nigerian Army, Agene Ogwuche, served in the intelligence unit of the Nigerian Army at Child Avenue, Arakan Barracks in Lagos, between 2001 and 2006. Following his deployment to the Nigerian Defence Academy, NDA, in 2006, Ogwuche deserted the army.

He was arrested on November 12, 2011, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on his arrival from the United Kingdom for suspected involvement in terrorism-related activities but was released to his father on October 15, 2012, following intense pressure from human rights activists who alleged rights’ violation.

An indigene of Orokam, Ogbadibo LGA, Benue State, Ogwuche studied Arabic Language at the International University of Africa, Sudan.

The SSS had earlier announced a N25 million reward for anyone with information on the wanted suspect.

He brought shame to us – family

Family members of Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche have lamented the involvement of their son in the Nyanya bomb blast, saying he has brought shame upon our family.

His second cousin, who spoke to LEADERSHIP on the condition of anonymity, said what Ogwuche did is unthinkable because “the Idomas are known to be industrious and peace-loving people, and not terrorists”.

Meanwhile, LEADERSHIP could not confirm whether Col. Abubakar Sadiq Ogwuche (rtd), the chief security officer of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, is the biological father or a relation of the suspected terrorist.

When our correspondent visited Col. Ogwuche’s office at ABU, he could not meet him. He was said to have travelled to Kaduna for an undisclosed reason.

Several efforts to contact him, including placing many calls to his GSM telephone number, did not yield positive results.

Though Col. Oguche could not also respond to text messages sent to his GSM number as at the time of filing this report, associates told LEADERSHIP that the suspected bomber is a biological son of the ABU’s chief security officer.

“I can confirm to you that Aminu is his son; there is nothing to hide there,” said a source. The management of the ABU kept mum during our correspondent’s inquiry.

LEADERSHIP also learnt that the suspected terrorist’s mother is a Fulani.

On the abducted Chibok girls, the NOA boss said international operations have commenced towards the rescue of the girls but noted that “the nature of the operation will not allow us to give details”.

He also noted that, in order to avoid the kidnap of more students, the federal government had ordered the closure of schools around the insurgency-prone areas, while the children have been relocated to safer schools.

Twins born holding hands

AKRON, Ohio (AP) -- Twin girls born with a rare condition in Ohio were breathing on their own and their mom said she and her husband were able to hold them on Mother's Day.

Sarah Thistlethwaite said babies Jillian and Jenna were removed from ventilators Sunday afternoon after they were able to breathe comfortably. She told The Associated Press that she and her husband Bill both held them for a while on Mother's Day.

"It's just hard to put into words how amazing it feels to know the girls are OK," she said. "It's great to know that they're doing so well, and being able to hold them."

The identical twin girls shared the same amniotic sac and placenta. Such births are called monoamniotic, or "mono mono," and doctors say they occur in about one of every 10,000 pregnancies.

They were born Friday at Akron General Medical Center, grasping each other's hands when doctors lifted them up for their parents to see after delivery.

Thistlethwaite told the Akron Beacon Journal that was "the best Mother's Day present ever."

"They're already best friends," said Thistlethwaite, 32. "I can't believe they were holding hands. That's amazing."

Jenna was born first at 4 pounds, 2 ounces and 17 inches, with Jillian following 48 seconds later at 3 pounds, 13 ounces and 17.5 inches.

They were moved temporarily to Akron Children's Hospital because they needed breathing assistance. Thistlethwaite expects to be released from Akron General on Tuesday, while the girls will remain in the hospital two to four weeks.

Dr. Melissa Mancuso helped deliver the twins, one of several amniotic pairs she has helped deliver in 11 years. She said the twins are at risk during pregnancy of entanglement of umbilical cords, which can cause death. Another woman at Akron General is expected to give birth later this week to monoamniotic twins.

Sarah and Bill Thistlethwaite, of Orrville, Ohio, have a son, Jaxon, whose first birthday was Jan. 27. That's the day they also found out she was carrying twins.

"All I could do was laugh," said Bill, 35.

They rushed to prepare their home for the twins, and Sarah was soon on bed rest.

A middle school math teacher, she went into the hospital on March 14.

"It's hard, it really is," she said of extended bed rest. "It was very mentally challenging knowing I have to sit here all day."

Besides television, books and "trashy gossip magazines," she viewed YouTube to learn how to crochet baby hats.

The girls were born at 33 weeks and two days. Mancuso said there were only minor issues during the pregnancy.

Sometimes the girls would kick the monitors off.

"I don't know what they're doing to each other," Sarah said jokingly of her "sweet girls."

Rapper Eminem apologizes to Mom (FOR REAL THIS TIME!!)

Eminem put his pride aside to work on Mother's Day. In a new video for the track "Headlights," the rapper reconciles with his own mom, Debbie.

hIS latest video portrays his mother's point of view and shows heart-breaking scenes filled with cigarettes, old photo albums, and a torn up Christmas. the video has over 5 million views already.

Over the images the rapper says, "But as stubborn as we are, did I take it too far, 'Cleaning Out My Closet', and all them other songs? ... But regardless I don't hate you. Cause ma, you're still beautiful to me."

Spike Lee directed the video which was shot in Eminem's infamous 8-Mile home in Detroit.

KJTV says the video is a raw apology for the anger Eminem channeled toward his mom and into his music.

"The rapper and his mother have had a troubled relationship for a number of years. He slammed her in previous songs like "Cleaning Out My Closet"... but the artist is now reviving their reconnected relationship."

In a climactic ending, mother and son are finally reunited as Eminem tears down his defenses to say he still loves her ... "Cause you're my mom."

Stereogum doesn't get as emotional, but says his message and the video are are a win-win. "It's an empathetic piece of work, and it makes me like the song more, which, after all, is what videos are supposed to do."

Carrying home the hook on "Headlights" is Fun. frontman Nate Ruess. Eminem released the single off his latest album "The Marshall Mathers LP 2". The album debuted at number one on Billboard last November.

Gov Nyako Angry With Foreign Soldiers Intervention In The North.

g1

**If they soldier have to go in, we have to instruct them on how to operate. – Gov Nyako.

As the nation rejoice over the arrival of soldiers and equipment from the United States and other world powers to help rescue the schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram in Chibok, Borno State, Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State was angered by the development and warned that direct military intervention may worsen killings in the North-East.
Nigeria President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan got assurances from his U.S. counterpart, Barack Obama, of America’s offer to send soldiers trained in counter-insurgency who will join their Nigerian counterparts for the special operation.

But Nyako, a retired Chief of Naval Staff, in an interview with reporters in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, said given the fact that the abduction is an internal security situation, “it is not encouraged to send in military in an internal security situation. Some countries even prohibit it.”

The governor, who has been critical of security agents’ alleged engagement in extra-judicial killings in the North, said during the General Ibrahim Babangida regime between 1985 and 1993, there was a breakdown of law and order in some parts of the country but he and some colleagues in the Armed Forces Ruling Council (AFRC) persuaded Babangida not to send soldiers to the troubled areas. To him, instead of sending soldiers, the Federal Government should find an alternative solution.

He said: “If you send in the military, the situation will deteriorate because we have different rules of engagement, we have a different code of conduct, we have a different mentality; we tend to come up more aggressively. So, there were cases, even in my experience (the Babangida years), when we refused to permit the military to get involved because from the experience of day one, if we go in, we (military) will aggravate the situation.

“If they (soldiers) have to go in, we need to emphasise to them the need to restrict, observe and be guided by the military code of conduct. Today, we have a situation where people are dying daily, so we have to find a solution. What do you want us to do? This humiliating situation is substantially in the North. “The security situation is seriously deteriorating by the day.

There is mass death, killings and the record is there. A number of people are being taken and killed from custody of state apparatus to graveyards for burial while others in cells are not being fed, not looked after and it’s a known fact in this state.

“These organised kidnappers must have the backing for them to move about freely with abducted children just as those who convey ammunition and explosives from ports to the safe houses of so called Boko Haram in the North.”

Nigerian College Student Buids a Wind- And Solar-Powered Car From Scraps

When it comes to the success of the electric car, billionaire Elon Musk is viewed as nothing short of a miracle worker. But roughly 8,000 miles away from Tesla's Palo Alto headquarters, Segun Oyeyiola has also managed to make something extraordinary on a smaller scale. The engineering senior at Nigeria's Obagemi Awolowo University spent a year retrofitting a Volkswagen Beetle into a wind and solar-powered car, partly made of free scrap parts donated by friends and family. Everything else cost under $6,000.

There's little question as to why Oyeyiola, who is taking his finals in the next two weeks, would devote so much of his extra-curricular time and resources to the project.

As he wrote in an email to Co.Exist:

"I wanted to reduce carbon dioxide emission[s] going to our atmosphere that lead to climate change or global warming which has become a new reality, with deleterious effect: seasonal cycles are disrupted, as are ecosystems; and agriculture, water needs and supply, and food production are all adversely affected."

"Therefore, I came up of building a car that will use both winds and solar energy for its movement," he continued. "This was my personal project because of the problem I’m planning to solve."

Dr. John Preston, chair of McMaster University's engineering physics department and faculty advisor to the school's solar car team, says he's never seen anything like Oyeyiola's contraption, which also comes with a GPS app that monitors car health. "If you could find a way to use both wind and solar in the same vehicle, that would be a marvelous thing," he said. "Using wind and solar means you wouldn't have to drive just during daylight hours. If he has figured a way to do it, that would be quite remarkable."

Not only did Oyeyiola install a giant solar panel on top of the Beetle; he also inserted a wind turbine under the hood. As Preston explains, that allows air to flow into the grill while the car is moving, subsequently turning the turbine's rotors and charging the battery at the back of the car. Oyeyiola also built a strong suspension system to deal with the weight of the battery itself.

It's not perfect. The battery takes four to five hours to charge, but Oyeyiola says he's working on that. The biggest challenges, he says, came from finding the best materials to use, and the people telling him he was wasting his time.

That last part doesn't seem like it'll stop Oyeyiola, who wants to create solar- and wind-powered cars that take advantage of hot, sunny Nigerian weather. When I ask him what will happen to the car after he finishes his last finals on May 15, his answer is simple, straightforward: "Keep improving on it, until it becomes Nigeria's future car."

By the end of the broadcast he was correctly referring to Nigeria.
An NBC statement after the broadcast read: "Brian realized his error right away, corrected it two minutes later and for all subsequent feeds. He wrote the item in question in the rush before airtime - it was an error borne of haste and he felt terrible about it."

#Bringbackourgirls----ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

Tuned in to CNN a day before only to find a full blown documentary our beloved nation , the issue : the abducted Nigerian girls from chibok secondary school.

You know what people ?
i learnt early enough not to make conclusoins based of information given to me by the media. why ?
you may end up going off key.... check this out ...

1 - where girls really abducted ?? seriously where you there ? and  if you there were-----
2 - how come we still have discrepancies with the number ? today 277, tomorrow 273, next tomorrow 270 ....??
3 - okay, say they were abducted , where are the names of the abducted students??
the malaysian flight that took a dive into the ocean have a list of every passenger on that plane till date, how come we are yet to have a coincise list of the names of the 200+ girls and their families ?????.
4 - why have the school teachers and the girls that escaped haven't had a press release???

Not disputing the fact that students where abducted, but why are the right questions not being asked?

2nd issue --- our military
CNN can blab all they want but, the nigerian military i know have proven themselves the best in africa, since i can remember
being a kid, the nigerian military have been dispatched to various african nations (liberia, sierra leone etc) to quell various uprisings and conflicts,
which they did excellently . boko haram cannot be an issue for them , something is obviously going wrong somewhere...

3rd issue --- madame president's interview

Because of my principles all i can say is ........THERE IS GOD OOOOHHHHH!!!!

CONCLUSION
NAIJA WILL STAND , NAIJA WILL THRIVE, NAIJA WILL MOVE FORWARD , NAIJA WILL REMAIN......WE ARE FACING THE DARK TIMES LIKE ANY OTHER NATION , BUT AT THE END, WE WILL COME OUT GREATER THAN WE ARE NOW.
